Description
Tomotley, once a thriving plantation, is now a private property located in Yemassee, South Carolina. Beautiful oaks with sweeping branches covered in Spanish moss line the driveway to the residence, making it one of the most beautiful entrances in the Lowcountry. The property dates back to the original Kings Grant in1698. The original home was burned by federal troops in 1865 but was rebuilt 1910.

In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.
