The Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge over the Cooper River in Charleston, South Carolina. It connects downtown Charleston to Mount Pleasant and is named for Senator Arthur Ravenel, Jr. who was instrumental in getting funding for the bridge. The bridge spans 1,546 feet and is the third longest among cable-stayed bridges in the Western Hemisphere.
