Description
One of the largest remaining stands of Shoals spider lilies bloom mid-May to mid-June at Landsford Canal State Park in Catawba, South Carolina.The 448-acre park contains the ruins of the Landsford Canal built between 1820 and 1825 using slave labor to bypass rapids on the Catawba River. The park offers hiking, picnicking, boating, and fishing, as well as a playground.
