Artist's Description
The Cable Mill, built by John Cable in 1867, is located inside Cades Cove in Townsend, Tennessee. In the late 1800s, the mill provided homesteads with a place to turn corn or wheat into flour for making bread. It is still a working mill today and is one of the most popular landmarks in Cades Cove.
